Immanuel is a congregation with its feet planted in the Gospel and its arms outstretched to the world. We are all about partnering with God and neighbors (local and global) to mend, heal and transform the world. That is both challenging and joyful work. We can’t do it alone . . . we do it in community. And so we partner with anyone and everyone we can. And whenever we reach out beyond our walls we continue to learn and be changed and become more faithful.

We are serious about partnership. Throughout this website are listed local and global partners who mentor and coach us in our ministry and discipleship; as well as provide places to volunteer and serve. As an example, every year, Quilters send handmade quilts and School Kits to Lutheran World Relief

Current Urgent Need

Lutheran Disaster Response

Primary partner
One primary partner that keeps us in our global community  is our denomination, the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). We partner with Lutherans around the nation and around to world to be God’s concrete presence to those struggling with war, disaster, hunger, and oppression.
