What to wear
There’s no dress code at Immanuel – people wear everything from jeans and t-shirts (shorts in summer) to more “dressy” clothes. Please be comfortable.

Parking
We’re a city church with just a small parking lot (off Pontius). On Sundays we have the free use of a parking lot at the northeast corner of John and Minor until 1pm. There’ll be a sign marking the lot. Fortunately, street parking is free on Sundays, and weekdays after 6 pm.

A Note About Parking
During this time of increased construction in our neighborhood, public transit is strongly encouraged. However, if you must drive, please allow extra time to find parking as you navigate the daily unpredictable road closures. We hope the inconveniences don’t dissuade you from coming to Immanuel and participating in the services.

Accessibility
Our worship space is accessible by elevator—enter through the parking lot door. Hearing assist receivers and large print bulletins are available. The parish hall on the first floor is also accessible, where an accessible gender neutral bathroom is located.

Children
Our community embraces the life, activity and sounds of children as a blessing and joy in our midst. For the convenience of families with small children, there is a “cry room” in the rear of the sanctuary with a changing table, rocking chair and a small collection of toys and activities for distraction and refocusing. Families should free free to use or not use the Cry Room as they so choose.

Restrooms
Gender neutral restrooms are available in the Fellowship Hall and on the sanctuary level behind the altar. You can ask an usher/greeter for directions.

Communion
All who seek God and a deeper and stronger life in Christ are welcome to come to the table and receive communion. All are welcome, regardless of age, denomination or home congregation. Grape juice and gluten/leaven-free bread are available in addition to wine and bread.
