Join us for Holy Week and Easter 2021
March 28 – Palm Sunday 10:30 am via ILC YouTube
On Palm Sunday we celebrate the arrival of Jesus to Jerusalem. While we recognize him as the Christ, we listen as the stage is set for his persecution. We leave rejoicing, yet knowing there’s more to come. This year we will also celebrate the Affirmation of Faith of one of our youth.
April 1 – HOLY THURSDAY 6:30 pm via Zoom (email office for login info)
In the evening, we gather as Jesus did on that Thursday. In this service we will have a time of ritual washing & healing prayers, gathering around the Word, and a Sacred Meal. (Instructions for what to prepare for your home altar will be available in coming weeks). Jesus gave this command as a gift, A FORETASTE OF THE FEAST TO COME. The evening ends with a liturgy of Stripping of the Altar, and we will end the Zoom call in silence.
April 2 – GOOD FRIDAY
In your own time – MidDay Meditation – Spotify Playlist
A 2-hour, eclectic collection of music for this day, curated for ILC by Pastor Priscilla

April 3 – EASTER VIGIL 6:30 pm via ILC YouTube
On Easter Eve we proclaim the victory of Christ even in the midst of the shadows of the night. The liturgy of Holy Chaos & Hilarity begins as we strike the first fire of Easter. We move through the shadows, led by the light of the Easter Candle. We gather around the Candle to tell the stories of salvation, to remember our Baptism, and celebrate the first Alleluia of Easter. Please — Include the children!!
